বাতাসের কন্ঠে থাকবে ভালবাসার গান
সঙ্গে থাকবে তোমার চুলের গন্ধ
দুজনে যেন হারিয়ে যাব
অনন্ত সীমানার শেষ সীমান্তে

seikhane aj ami royesigo ghume.
amar fera kovu hobe nako ar,
paro jodi asho pashe bahute amar.
ami to ferabo na sokhi, ai toru tole.
mor deho mishe ase mati ar jole.
kadiye vasio na buk, jao tumi chole
jabar age sudhu, kotha jao bole.

I am submitting some poems written by me 5 or more years back… hope you will like them….. :-)

She walks down the street
With no place to go
No coat on her back

And her shoes filled with snow
Her tattered clothes
Can’t keep her warm

She needs a place to stay
Until the morn
She asks a man

Along the way
If he knows of a shelter
Where she can stay

He looks at her
With a sigh
And shakes his head

As he walks by
She hangs her head
In sorrowful shame

For she knows
He’s not to blame
For her misfortune

For her despair
It wasn’t his fault
Why should he care

She goes into the alley
To get away from the breeze
Then covers herself with boxes

So she won’t freeze
It’s just another cold
Wintry night

That she’ll sleep outside
Till morning light

Silence fell over the room
As I walked down the aisle
When I met you at the altar
They all just smiled
We said our vows
And promised to never part
Yet I stand here today
With this broken heart
My will to go on seems gone
My dreams torn and tattered
My love for you is still strong
But my heart beaten and shattered
You stand there as if
You’ve done nothing wrong
With her in your arms
How can I go on?
I was there for you
Through thick and through thin
I stood by your side
And wanted to till the end
But you deserted our vows
The promises that we had made
You lied and you cheated
Letting the flame just fade
There were several things
You’ve done to be untrue
But I forgave them all
For the love that I have for you
This is so hard for me to do
But today I will let you go
As hard as it is for me to say
Because I love you, you know
But always, remember this
I will never let you back in
You’ve made your decision
My heart will never be yours again

I saw the way you looked at me
And it made me want to cry
Just because I don’t have what you have
Doesn’t make you better than I
I no longer have a house to call my own
I have been left out here all alone
Don’t turn away
Please listen to what I say
I was once like you
With a family and a home
But as time went by
I lost everything I owned
Just because you have everything now
And your life seems okay
It doesn’t mean it will always be that way
So don’t be so quick
to prejudge what you don’t understand
If you were in my position
I would give you work if not a hand
Please listen to what I have said
And consider how I feel
And then please give e some work
So I can buy myself a meal

Now we’ve been friends
For quite a while
Whenever I had a problem
You made me smile
Whenever I was down
You helped me to stand
You gave only love
With no demands
You were there for me
Through thick and through thin
Through all of the trouble
I’ve gotten myself in
You’d pick me back up
Whenever I’d fall
And no matter how late
You’d always answer my call
And through all this time
You never asked me for a thing
Only love to my heart
Did you bring
But now I think
It’s time to repay
You for all the things
You’ve done along the way
For every smile
That you’ve brought out in me
I’ll try to make you happy
For eternity
For every time
That you helped me to stand
I’ll give you my all
With no demands
And for all the times
You gave me your heart
I’ll give you mine
And promise to never part
